Committed to social mobility and inclusivity, we provide second chances to those who need them most. By working with prisons, probation services, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), job centres and other mainstream referral routes, we connect untapped talent with commercial clients. Our approach helps businesses meet their social value targets while building a skilled, diverse and job-ready workforce.

In the community, we work with the DWP, probation, community payback and other career seekers who need training to enter the workplace. In custody, we focus on individuals in the final six months of their sentence and those eligible for Release on Temporary Licence (ROTL). Every candidate is supported and receives detailed information, advice and guidance (IAG) to ensure they are fully prepared for the demands of the industry.

The workforce planning cycle ensures that ETS training is aligned with both employer needs and learner outcomes. It begins by analysing sector demand and identifying the skills employers require, then designing training programmes to address those gaps.

Learners are trained and assessed through accredited, hands-on modules before moving into real workplace placements. Feedback from employers and learners then feeds back into the cycle, allowing ETS to continually refine and adapt programmes—creating a sustainable pipeline of skilled, workforce-ready talent.

We fully engage with support workers and work coaches to ensure they have a deep understanding of the opportunity they are promoting. We provide a suite of marketing materials and ample time to build a pool of potential candidates.

We then conduct on-site introduction and engagement sessions, where participants are fully immersed in all aspects of the training program and their future career.
