                Description

                Skills Bootcamp in construction and rail funded by Kent County Council.

                 

                This programme lasts 10-days and consists of the following elements:

                Manual Handling L1 Qualsafe

                Health and Safety in a Construction Environment L1 Highfields

                CITB CSCS Card

                Vehicle Marshall NPORS

                Personal Track Safety eLearning

                Drug and Alcohol Test

                Medical

                Sponsorship

                PTS AC

                PTS DCCR

                Employability

                Full Personal Protective Equipment

                Identification

                2 x forms of photo ID (Passport and Driving License)

                1 x Proof of Address

                1 x Proof of right to work in the UK

                Prerequisites

                To be funded, learners must meet all the following criteria:

                • Be aged 19 or over on:
                  • 31st August 2024 for Skills Bootcamps starting between 1st April 2025 and 31st July 2025;
                  • 31st August 2025 for Skills Bootcamps starting between 1st August 2025 and 31st March 2026;
                • Have the right to work in the UK (Right to Work evidence check);
                • Meet residency requirements (Residency Requirements evidence check);
                • Must have been a resident in the Uk for the last 3-years from the first day of learning.
                • No prior attainment required unless specified by an employer or vacancy.
                • Live in Kent or Medway
                • Not have enrolled in a Skills Bootcamp already in the current funding year (1st April – 31st March)
